Alternative Fashion Week 2008
Fri, 18/04/2008 - 1:03pm
Welcome to our coverage of Alternative Fashion Week 2008
This year Alternative Fashion Week has moved from March to April, but judging by the weather, it is likely that temperatures and the wind factor will mean that it is best to wrap up warm when heading over to Spitalfields old market just off Brushfield Street, E1.
Last year, Jasper Garvida displayed great spirit when coping with a makeshift changing room for his models which was virtually in the open air - not only did Jasper smile and manage to keep his models happy, he impressed us with his sophisticated collection. A few months later, Jasper was invited to take part in Project Catwalk and having won the competition is now designing collections to be sold online in July and September. Jasper will be lending his support to AFW 08 which features collections from over 60 designers.
The Week also includes a daily Fashion Market where you can buy designs seen on the catwalk.
We've hooked up with Paul Tait for photography and Ed Beck at MB Films for video. Enjoy.

Fashion designers create and produce clothing articles.Andy is a very interseting, fashion designer. With the creation of the Moleskin trousers.

Not all models are considered "beautiful": character models portray mcafee certification ordinary people and humorous types, mostly in print work and in commercials. Photo manipulation and cosmetic surgery also enable people with vmware certification body imperfections to model and change their looks to suit a certain role. Many high fashion models have "quirky" attributes and memorably unusual faces. High end brands often use these unusual faces as people are likely to 70-536 practice test remember their brand name and associate it with an interesting face.
