Super Super Fashion Troopers - LFW
Tue, 09/10/2007 - 7:23pmSuper Super the show of the week I was most looking forward to during London Fashion week September 07. Why? My styling and photography students at London College of Fashion (Anna Trevelyn amongst others see photo) had re introduced me to the 90s revival via Super Super magazine 2 years ago and I would get to see it in the real and what's different about the 90s this time around.

Girl on a (Scooter) Motorbike – Start of LFW
Tue, 18/09/2007 - 2:39pm“It's just like a filmâ€! My favourite feeling and dream. Has to have a whole heap of reality in there somewhere and maybe that's why I love this mad world that is FASH!
Day 1: LFW What to wear? The sun was beaming down, mmmm let's think the smarty sixties type printed cotton dress, belted, long sleeved with a bit of ruffle, knee length bought from Beyond Retro £12. And to set of the clash nicely a pink spotted cardigan from a charity shop in Old street £1.99. Wore the outfit the night befor to the Serpentine Pavilion opening, knew it worked and who would notice anyway ? Love a bit of spot on spot combo. (Photo in Marian's blog.)

Festival Fashion Tips – it’s all in the accessories for me
Mon, 09/07/2007 - 4:30pmDid the festival thing with a group of friends a few weeks ago visiting the Lynton and Lymouth Festival. A very cool, good size, (not so fine with the big crowds toilet business these days) folksy and in gorgeous part of Devon by the sea. So lucky with the weather before the rains! Noticed lots of articles about festival fashion lately and while I was at the festival realised this season for me, it's not about the fashion, and it's all about the accessories. A few tips on what I think can make a great accessorised look this festival season.

On Broadway
Mon, 09/07/2007 - 11:59amLove it when you can still find a vintage corker of a frock for a fiver on a market stall in London.
East London local hipsters do “Broadway†on Saturday late morning/ afternoon. So with my mate Warren (known as “Guru†to me, long story an image on his my space) we took a stroll along. “Broadway Market†is an organic touchy feely market. Sells amazing food, flowers, eco products, crafty / fashion ethnic type things and vintage clothes. A local Saturday treat .We did the market walk and ended on a sale rail everything for a fiver. Fashion challenge looming! Found my dress of summer 2007 (if it stops raining). A pastel floral patterned dress Laura Ashley -esk, 80s, slightly bridesmaid with puff long sleeves, sweet heart neck line, bodice, long gathered skirt and looks like it's made from curtains. Perfect! Warren found an amazing dark green wool two piece suit for £45 that he was grateful I talked him into when we had a trying on time back at my house. He commented on how my pattern dress matched my living room. Had to post a shot of it for you and have now named it the “living room dress†Forgot to mention after our purchases the owner of the market stall said we could both take a sale item for free! What a nice guy, priceless!
