Banksy's Pet Shop is Genius
Fri, 10/10/2008 - 3:56pm
The Village Pet Store and Charcoal Bar and Grill on 89th Street is the location of Banky's brilliant new exhibition in New York. You have to appreciate the humour here, apparently Banksy has said New Yorker's don't care about art they care about pets so he's rented a shop and turned it into a pet shop where nothing is for sale and the animals include animatronic rabbits, fish fingers floating in a tank and chicken nuggets standing over a tub of ketchup. The shop is open until October 31st.
