AFW Day 1 - Jasper Garvida, Pretty Pervy

The catwalk this year is better positioned to avoid the wind and conditions were actually quite pleasant. Met Manip who has flown in from New Delhi to show his handmade traditional Indian garments - he has a stall in the Fashion Market and will be showing his collection on Friday.

Fave fuk stylist, Richard Shoyemi

Project Catwalk winner Jasper Garvida and Jules

Robert Miller from Pretty Pervy was lacing a model into one of his latex rubber creations while we chatted backstage. Then we cornered Eva and Anna, two models who'd be sent down early this morning by their agencues and were cast to model for Rachel Hines. We'd seen Rachel's streetwear very briefly last year at Graduate Fashion Week - since then she's has expanded the collection and created her own accessories. She's an astute lady who has her own stall in the fashion market selling accessories, T-shirts and sweats. After a talk with Rachel, we met Lynn from Basildon and Thurrock college - she brought down a team of hair stylists to gain experience of working under catwalk conditions.

We were chuffed to interview Jasper Garvida, winner of Project Catwalk who'd come to support the event with fellow contestant Jules. One of our favourite stylists, Richard Shoyemi agreed with us that Victoria Harley's collection was bang on now, and he kindly agreed to give her some advice and have a talk on camera.

The show today was ram packed and we had fuk.co.uk logos on the banners advertising the event as well as postcards in all the press packs.

We're just downloading videos now and should have photos, catwalk vids and interviews all live shortly - check out the coverage here.
