Hand in day!!

My collection at GFW!

Hello,
I never actually though I be writing this, but I hand in my work tomorrow! It's been a long journey and for a while I wasn't even sure if I would reach this point, but I'm so glad I have (assuming there are no natural disasters / robberies / freak snow storms that prevent me from getting in tomorrow). I feel that I have changed enourmously as a person, I have matured a lot from when I started, and although sometimes it's felt like as soon as you get over one thing, there's another setback, that's just life I guess, you have to learn from it and take that knowledge with you.
I have about finished all of my work now, but I'm sure I'll be up until the early hours anyway finding extra last minute things to do! Graduate Fashion Week went great, I was so pleased with the way my collection looked, the only thing was that it went so fast I didn't really take any of it in! We have our University Graduate show in Northampton on Wednesday though so I'll get to see it again and enjoy it this time - then it's out on the town to get absolutely mashed up!! I feel like I deserve it, I definately need some tension release, although whether my body can cope with it is another matter!!
You can see images of my collection at http://www.catwalking.com/GRADUATES/GRAD_09/BA_shows/shows/Northampton/shows/01-Roxanne%20Pitteway/index.html they look great, some wicked photos, not many of the back though where the main detail is but I'll take some at my show.
Right I'm off to panic,
Roxanne
Must of seen your toiles on here a while back coz instantly recognised the shell back detail from somewhere. Anyway just wanted to say that finished collection looks amazing, really cohesive and well constructed. Congrats
