Hello,

Well I am soo happy now I have finally handed in my dissertation!!! It's such a relief to get that in, I've been working on it for the best part of 8 months now! I just hope I get a good grade for it, although I won't find that out until June.
Now I can just concentrate on making my collection. I have made three jacket toiles (samples in calico fabric) which are only first toiles, I will have to make them all at least one more time before I get them right but probably more like two or three! I've put photos up of those so far. My leather sourcing is also going well, I know what kind of leathers I want to use just need to decide on my final designs now.
We had a review last week where we had to show two outfits on models to a panel of our tutors. Mine went ok, I haven't had the grade back yet though! Now I have to work on getting my outfits right, as well as sorting out things like fastenings and details.
I also have to start working on my portfolio - lots of boards and illustrations to do! I'm snowed in at the moment, uni has been cancelled today so Im working on those now!
