One month to go...

Hi everyone,
Well with about one month left until I go back to uni it's starting to hit home how much work I have to do!!
I have done the 5000 words required for my dissertation, however we can opt to do a 10,000 word dissertation and not do a marketing project which is what I'm hoping to do so only another 5000 to go!!!
When I start back, my tutors will expect me to hand in my first draft of the dissertation and also to have a lot of research done on my concept for my final collection. I've been looking at bugs and insects; I've just ordered a load of bugs in resin from ebay (if you need something unusual for cheap money it's ebay every time!!) so that's cool, now I just have to do a lot of drawing and research into possible fabrics.
Also as anyone in fashion will know work experience is so essential in getting a job when you graduate. I've been working at Kangst, (www.kangst.com) an up and coming label in Shoreditch which has been really great - It's been good to have an actual job to do - Often the work experience people just get stuck making tea and clearing out stockrooms which haven't been touched in years (Sound familiar anyone??!) but I've definately learned a lot.
I will also be working at London Fashion Week, at the On|Of event at the Royal Acadamy of Arts which should be good too - I worked there last year and it was a great experience, and met loads of people - I'll keep you updated with all the backstage gossip - and hope to see you there fuk team!!
