The Look Presents
Author Paul Gorman has already turned his book The Look, Adventures in Rock and Pop Fashion into a successful club night and blog and now with partner Max Karie he's set to launch clothing label, The Look Presents.

For its first few seasons, The Look has signed up with Topman and 20 stores nationwide will stock the debut collection of T-shirts designed by original 70s purveyors of punk, Wonder Workshop. "John and Molly from Wonder Workshop were a perfect choice" says Paul. "It's really exciting since their designs were worn by everybody from Sid Vicious and Iggy Pop to Led Zep and Mick Jagger, but we are reinventing them for guys from 16-24 in 08. The Look's watchwords are "integrity, credibility and authenticity", which is why the clothing label is all about collaborating with fine talents and bringing them to a wider public.
In June the second range will drop - again T-shirts but this time designed by the legendary Nigel Waymouth from Granny Takes A Trip based on the shop fronts he created in the 70s. GTAT's shop windows were an integral part of the Kings Road psychedelic scene and the T-shirts will be "decadent" with dark references but in bright, summery hues. Then in October, Priceless will drop. Designed by Anthony Price, this will be a tailored range of menswear from one of the most influential designers in UK fashion history. "Think Devendra Banhart. Very LA canyons/nu-folk" which roughly translates into tight fitted jackets, tailored shirts and partywear.
The Look Presents starts at £30 and will be also be available to buy from Topman's website.
