Marios Schwab fuk@lfw a/w 07

No.1 Piazza, Covent Garden, WC2

Marios Schwab is, metaphorically speaking, a hot ticket at London Fashion Week which makes it a real shame that fuk.co.uk's real ticket, and those of a lot of other people invited to his show, turned out to be utterly useless. We'd love to have reviewed Schwab's show, especially after waiting an hour and a half to see it, but too many people were let in and the resulting fire hazard meant that some of us were left out.

Still, judging from the pix that fuk.co.uk's intrepid photographer managed to take the show marked an interesting progression from last seasons work. His patchwork technique of assembling fabric hexagons around the body is worked into more three-dimensional forms and on little black dresses Schwab's signature metallic plates highlight the body's contours.

More interesting are quilted hemlines, the idiosyncratic use of fleece on posh frocks and fitted puffa jackets which would have gone down a treat with those of us left shivering outside the show.
