Monday Roundup fuk@lfw a/w 07

Another storming Fashion East show showcasing three designers: Danielle Scutt, Louise Goldin and making his LFW debut, the king of slogan T-shirts, Mr Henry Holland with his House of Holland.
LFW débutant Henry Holland
Danielle's collection was power-dressing 80s style - printed dresses for a Dallas diva complete with Lucy Ewing hair. We were a bit bemused by the appearance of a mink bomber - not what we like to see and for us a blot on an otherwise cool collection. Louise Goldin's second Fashion East showing was very impressive - clever knitwear and a solid collection.
Henry Holland is, as our Maia said "very London." Slogans T-shirt dresses, bold skintight printed trousers for men and fantastic plastic Kickers - all a lot of fun and as the designer told me afterwards, "this is the first time I have ever been backstage at a fashion show and it's my show!"
Earlier there was a scary safety issue at the Topshop venue - according to people in the audience at the Peter Jensen show part of the roof collapsed. Luckily no one was hurt. After an amazing show by John Rocha (where we bumped into Caryn Franklin who said some very nice things about fuk.co.uk) we managed a scoot around the exhibition and also bumped into the founder of Wildlife Works.
Having mistakenly headed off to a show which doesn't take place until tomorrow (!) we were sucked into a psychedelic vortex of cyber surreal colour and craft at Manish. Had a chat with the designer who revealed he has a team of around 300 people working for him! Then spoke with our favourite Fashion Week show producer Mr John Walford who assured us there were no 'size 0s' at his shows.

Couple more show reports are up, including Fashion East - more coming later.

Not sure about that House of Holland stuff, the "Cause Me Pain Hedi Slimane" tshirt was enough to put me off for good!
You going to get more pictures and stuff up later on Maz?
