London Fashion Week S/S 2005

This was a cracking Fashion Week where we got to see a really wide variety of shows, many of them great - read up on the highlights here.

Our decision to focus on the collections shown off-schedule (we made an exception for a couple of New Generation designers and the wonderful Michiko Koshino) was helped by a run-in with the BFC which, after confirming our accreditation, then took umbrage over our DVD from last season.

No matter. We had a crew (Mark, Thomas and Bruce) installed at On/Off for three days - check back for more videos from this event shortly - as well a scootered-up photographer (David was able to zoot from venue to venue on his Vespa, no hassle) and our top notch video geezer, Nick, out and about shooting from the shoulder.

This season we have enhanced our coverage with the Phone Diary. We recruited a different person to take part each day, recording their Fashion Week experience in photos, audio and video. This was a huge success and we've ended up with some great moments: my favourites are cameraman Bruce's dancing and sound messages recorded live whilst filming as well as student Laura's classic shot when she drops the K700i. Whoops.
