We'd like to start by saying that we love Boy George, and the choice of the National Anthem to open was well-suited to a show by the nation's favourite queen. We think he is truly creative, talented, witty and we have nothing but good things to say about the man himself. Unfortunately, his S/S 07 collection isn't much cop.

Yes, it's fun, and yes it's zany but it's also clumsy and, dare we say it, not terribly accomplished. For boys there are pants with the word 'Yes' emblazoned across the crotch, pink trackies, bondage straps, sperm prints and smiley red sequinned crabs. For girls, it's gingham, flouncy dresses and nude bikinis with black X's across the nipples.

It's a collection that will no doubt appeal to the club-kid market, many of whom - old and new - were dotted throughout the audience. From platinum haired designer, DJ and artiste, Pam Hogg, and google-eyed comedienne Helen Lederer to the identical blonde micro twins and the Timothy Spall lookalike with a digital display flashing on his trilby, they really were fun to watch.
