On Sunday afternoon we basked in the fairy tale ambience of pink rabbits, mushrooms and diamonds at the Julia Clancey show.

Models floated one by one, each blessing the sparkly white catwalk with some breath-taking old school glamour, all in painted red lips, big fluffy hair, chunky Swarvoskis hanging from their ears and draped clothes that had gorgeousness sewn into every seam.

IT dresses are a key feature with sexy slashed backs a ray of bejeweled print and chunky embellished waistlines, some floor-length maxi-style and some in leggy short cuts. Roman back straps added detailing, and intricate embellished piping on floating chiffon sleeves gave an expensive and finished look. For a less serious approach, there's a tiny pair of liquid gold hot pants which add fun to the story. Peach, white and ice green chiffons and silks draped off glossy sun tanned shoulders and each bronzed leg was adorned in sparkling killer heels, every model looked like they had been rolling around in a billionaire's bed of diamonds.

Clancey has staged another memorable show; every eye in the audience (which included Sacha Mascolo from Toni and Guy) was glued to her catwalk.
