Dover Street Market

When Dover Street Market first opened its doors, London lovers of all things Comme had their prayers answered. Now almost three years later, Rei's Kawakubo's vision for DSM as "a kind of market where various creators from various fields gather together and encounter each other in an ongoing atmosphere of beautiful chaos" is being translated online.

The DSM website gives a detailed floorplan of the market - current ultra-credible collections include Junya Watanabe's MAN, Martin Margiela's Number (N)ine, Fred Perry, Visvim, Stephen Jones, Duggie Fields, Dior Homme, Raf Simons and, of course, Comme des Garcons' PLAY, Homme, Homme Plus and parfums.

The online shop promises to expand its ranges from the middle of February 2007. Currently stock includes Comme des Garcons fragrances and bath products, candles (£28 a pop but they last 50 hours), wallets (from £60), jumpers (£145) and sweatshirts by Marc Jacobs (£60), Fred Perry polos (the second wave of Paul Weller designed shirts, £80) and Duggie Fields badges (£18 for four). DSM stands for great quality and design but I personally couldn't part with £85 for a DSM branded tartan tote bag - other people will.

The rota of designers at DSM is updated regularly, so fingers-crossed the website gets more and more gems over the coming months.
