Mopods are mobile phone gadgets from Japan which somehow synch-in with your mobile phone and can be attached to your bag, belt, necklace etc.
When you receive a call or a text, the little creature encased in a transparent plastic case spins around to alert you. This works even when your phone is on silent mode. So far eight models have been released in the UK including a kitten, penguin, monkey, puppy and little devil. Mopods cost £4.95 (plus 2 squid delivery).
