Fashion Forward Winners

Christopher Kane, Marios Schwab, Erdem and Roksanda Illncic have been chosen to receive Fashion Forward Awards to help them show at London Fashion Week.
Launched in 2006, the Fashion Forward Awards are the next stage on from New Generation Awards. The designers may have already received New Generation Awards and are required to have built an international profile through London Fashion Week. The Award intends to help UK-based designers making the "transition from emerging talent to established designer". Along with cash to help the designers meet the costs of staging a show at London Fashion Week, the Award also includes a business mentoring programme whereby experts from the industry assist the winners in developing how they work.
Fashion Forward has been financed in part by the London Development Agency which in December 2007 granted £4.2 million over a three-year period towards increasing the sustainability of London fashion businesses.
