Sir Tom Baker opens Soho shop

Sir Tom Baker's Soho boutique
A former post-production office at 4 D'Arblay Street has been transformed into an Aladdin's cave of bespoke menswear with tailor Sir Tom Baker at the helm.
Set in a Grade II listed building, the boutique fits seamlessly into the Soho landscape. Tom trained at Hardy Amies in Savile Row but has been operating his tailoring service with a modernist twist from a studio in Berwick Street since 1996. Working to the motto "maintain traditional techniques but modernise the styles" he's gained a clientele which includes Mick Jagger, Take That, Ant and Dec and some style savvy politicians. According to Tom, "To look and feel good, dress up in a sharp suit with a serious bit of footwear and headgear and forget all about it once you've left home" and to ensure we can achieve this he has teamed up with shoe label Archie Eyebrows and hat man extraordinaire Stephen Jones.
Step into the back of the shop to experience Archie Eyebrows' shoe emporium which is home to lairy Cuban heels as well as a bespoke shoe service by label owner Liz de Havilland whose creative consultant is husband Terry. Along with Stephen's handmade hats you can also pick up a selection of ties and shirts. Choose from off-the-peg suits or invest in a handmade creation made to your own specifications and overseen by Sir Tom himself.

Will he be selling those super long stripey scarves that he used to wear when he was Dr Who?
