Librarians rule

The library lady look takes hold

A few seasons ago, Marcus Constable showed an off-schedule collection based around the wardrobe of a librarian. Now it seems that Marcus' bookish instincts were spot-on as elements of this library look are cropping up everywhere. There are updated versions of 'sensible' jumpers, cardis and blouses all over the high street this season and upcoming designer label aei:kei has created the perfect librarian blouse. Of course, you aren't meant to ape the look literally, but be inspired by it and make it your own. You can get some great librarian clothes from San Francisco-based Fabric8's latest collection - check out their fantastic Edwardian Sweaters ($80) and Corduroy Ruffle Skirt ($90), both made by Beaut.
