For a more thorough approach, boys' secondhand school blazers can look great with skinny jeans and plimsolls especially with custom details - try adding frayed edges and wearing your collar up for added attitude. Thick, wool stripy scarves in the old university style look very cool with a totally ungeekish outfit to contrast the boy swot image of the scarf. Boyish accessories can work well with this season's mini skirts, but bear in mind that if you don't want to look like everyone else, avoid the obvious.
