hes a mad gooner, its the only thing he cared about during his sentence.,...when he was in solitary (which was nearly always), the other prisoners used to tell him that the arse had lost big matches when they had actually won, so when the screws opened the door to feed him he would attack the fuck out of them cos he would be in such a vile mood.

What's up with this book?? Is it actually any good? I've had it lying about for 2 years and every time I pick it up and start reading it I just can't get into it and end up flinging it against the wall.
Currently reading Sherlock Holmes stories and it is excellent!

Just read 'Games People Play' by Eirc Berene. If your into psychology then this is a must read. It studies the behavior of us males (interesting read for females too) and the games we play under different influences when interacting with others. Quick easy read too

i always had it with me and read it in the metro. it's one of my favorites. one of those books you just put in your shelf and whenever you feel like you want to philosophize a bit you take it and read a little. you can read it again and again, the way you interpret it can be different from time to time.

Just about to start Howards Marks - Dope Stories, read about a chapter and I'm thinking it's going to be wank. May try something else instead. It's probably just a second book cash-in for Marks, has anyone read it?

bump.
just read the big sleep, Philip Marlowe mysteries are possibly my favorite detective series,
although all of Chandlers stuff makes my inner monologue run in a 30's P.I. fashion.
decided I might as well read the watchmen seeing as people said its way better than the shitty film.
don't really read many graphic novels, piss easy to get through, nearly finished.
really enjoying it mind.
