Depends on the value. A lot of the stores on there do free ground shipping and wont mark down. Go proxy if in doubt.

really big bump, but saves a new thread being made.
Might be a bit of a tupid question but what exactly is rakuten, was looking for a supreme small plaid camp cap and one came up on there, but sold. Is it basically just like ebay, but for clothes?
thanks

I've seen people say that Cliff Edge is legit on Rakuten, but is CliffedgeR, Just the price of some of the items is so low its worrying.

not sure where to post this, but bought two items off one store on rakuten (specifcally BLOWZSHOP) ordered on the 23rd last month, paid by card and went through rakuten and all that jobby. Anyway, its almost a month later and the items haven't turned up, not only that the supposed tracking number for my items is invalid. Ive tried to email the store on three occasions with no reply, whats my next option, do i ring my bank and ask them to reverse payment? Have no idea and would quite like 120 quid back...

I've not used Rakuten, but I presume you upload your card details on there and pay through that?
Or by personal account you meant PayPal?

no you can't pay through paypal, as they deduct shipping after youve paid for the item, yeah you put in your card details as you would over any other internet site, guessing its a long phone call to natwest

Request a chargeback with your bank. Here's a good guide:

http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/visa-mastercard-chargeback

In future, especially if you're spending over £100 make payment via Credit Card, that way you're guaranteed to be protected.

Yeah was about to say, it's doubtful. Only time I've had a chargeback, is if an unauthorised payment has been made.

You can try, read the link I just posted. Of course Visa/Mastercard aren't legally liable under Chargebacks, but it's worth a shot.

Section 75 is different from a Chargeback, it offers you more protection but is only valid when purchases (over £100) are made with a Credit Card.
