Land Of The Dead - Utter crap. Yeah I watched this and thought it was very shit also. It's just that nothing happened, it wasn't that gory and it certainly wasn't scarey. And it was an 18, I've seen scarier 12 rated films. Pretty rubbish compared to night of the living dead and dawn of the dead. |

king kong, awesome movie yup, just got back, was much better than i expected... but how the F did they get Kong to New York I was wondering what they would come up with to do that when they put him to sleep - then all of a sudden he's in NY! I was willing to ignore the gaping plot hole though, seeing as the film was about a giant gorilla who lived on a secret island full of dinosaurs |

the reason why napoleon dynamite is genius: it has NO real actors in it, yet the acting is rediculously amazing and adds to the effect of the "POINT" to the film,.. the point being.... there IS no point.,.. if you watch it, it doesnt add anything to your life what so ever, nor does it create anything new or forfilling. its set from what i can only guess as its not really mentioned, late 80s to early 90s in middle america at a school with so MANY nobodies there is almost no point to even talking about it. this IS the point of the film, the fact that there are people that LIVE like this for real in america or did live like this, the odd american immigrant with no input what so ever and no incite to what really matters. the comedy value comes from the pure fact it cant be real or true but there are SO many stereotypical middle americans in it its unreal. there are no superheros, no villans as such NOTHING,.. i mean napoleon isnt even really classed as a geek his an inbetween NOTHING and THAT was my two cents,.... Personally I would of stopped watching it after the first half an hour but I decided to sit through because of everyones hype so therefore in the hope that maybe at some point it might make me laugh. It didn't. On IMDB alot of people say it is Hilarious and lots of people say it is the worst film they have ever seen. Last film I watched was the 40 year old virgin. Laughed about twice but to the most part was pretty shit. |

last film i saw: in cinema: Hitch |
suppose you've done all the obvious stuff - war remnants, pagodas, chinese market, history museum, american embassy, presidential palace, shopping and day trips - cu chi etc. there's a still a million amazing places to eat and drink, even if its just watching the street life. if you've done all that and you've been there ages.. then you can watch movies.
