i think black is in general overrated, although he is good in kong. Enjoyed it, but its certainly not a classic, supporting cast just lacked something really. I would recommend it though.

Napolean Dynamite is the least funny film I have ever seen.

i concur, Napolean dynamite was appaaaaaling.. surprised movies like this make it big in the UK, thought only us americans would like this sense of humor

recently watched 40 year old virgin, watched it with my sister, was awkward as hell.. the movie itself was terrible.

french films are where its at, every french film ive seen has been great..

Just Friends and the Constant Gardner. Just friends is fun in parts but nothing more than that.
The constant gardner is fucking superb, really is. Not that i care much for them but if Fiennes doesnt get an oscar nod then it would be a travesty.
It was one of the most convincing performances ive ever seen on screen. The emotion the guy portrays is just amazing. Watching it i actually believed that Fiennes was who he was playing. Plus its always nice to see Rachel Weisz in the almost buff.
Also check out 'Walk The Line'. Another great film with great acting. The soundtrack is probably the best since 'O' Brother where for art thou' as well.

not as good as the old gary oldman, the firm.. but was refreshing to see them fighting it out.. elijah wood is the worst actor in the movie..

Yeah it was more brutal than I thought it would be considering it had Elijah Wood in it. You'd think they'd dumb it down for the Lord Of The Rings kiddies to go see. It's what I'd have done if I was Mr. Big Production Company.

The end was fuckin' shit though. And the moral of the story didn't appeal to me.

One of the reasons behind Him picking the film was because it was so different to what he did before. I think it would have been different if the film had been a vechile designed for him rather than a project that he stumbled upon.

That is probably true.

But I know if I was chief of commission for whichever production company it was, I'd still have floated the idea as soon as he stepped on to the project. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they didn't sell out, it's just Christmas and my mind is kinda one track concerning money, especially after the last 4 nights. Would have been a nice Christmas bonus for me. Laughing out loud

Plus, it rode on the back of the success of The Football Factory so it already had half of its target audience in tow. And then with Eligah tagging along I'd have shed a tear at the financial possibilities.

It's just a shame he didn't act for shit.
