Thought id start a last gig thread as there are plenty of people on the board who do this sort of thing.
My last one was a while ago The Cribs in december.
Was pretty good, at leeds met, which is a really class venue.
Gig was excellent plenty of hot girls
8.5/10

i went to see my mates little brothers band called A Broken Robot at Chinnery's last night. Thery were pretty bloody good to be honest.
the same can not be said for I Was a Cub Scout who they were supporting. the singer was the grumpiest mother fucker i have ever seen in my whole life. we left after 2 songs. i'd have to give then another listen.
i did see a man that looked like Billy Idol though.

i bought my tickets about 10mins before they sold out so i ain't that fussed, i'm sure people got worse tickets than me.
as i said to mob, i'm used to seeing nothing being a midget and normally standing, so any view is a good view for me.

im on a good run at the minute the last three gigs ive been at...
Arcade Fire - 9.5/10 id go as far as saying seeing them live is something you have to do before you die. docked 0.5 as the main guy Win kept preachin on about George Bush and i dont give a shit about his political beliefs, just play your songs
bloc Party - 8.5/10 really like the new album and now that they have two albums of material to chose from there a really good live act
Editors - 8.5/10 a very good live band in my opinion. new songs sounded brilliant, powerful is how i'd some them up is i had to in a word.
seeing Arctic Monkeys this saturday

Do photographs for a local club so went to Hadouken last week.
Was expecting lots of Dayglo and no good tunes but ended up really impressed. Despite the fact the whole band looks really young they were great, and not a neon hat in site (the audience was a different matter ). Support was a rapper called Example who was very good, and a local band called, Does it offend you, yeah? who were also impressive.

they should be good.
Talking of Example, i missed him a few weeks back coz i was ill but think Luke saw him - everyone said he was good. i'd heard him on Zane Lowe a bit.

Was quite good,
Vocals were well good, played loads of the older albumn but i like the newer one more.
Was a really weird crowd, quite alot of older people and others who werent the type you would expect to see.
She jumped into the crowd at the end , could have coped a feel if i was nearer the front

i've got a few of their albums caz, if you like em you can have em.
A Broken Robot were good, as well as Data Select Party.
Went to see Example like Caz mentioned but was mainly their to see our mate in the support, and ended up leaving half way through example... of what i heard it was ok
