Been with Homecall now for about 5 months, and I have come to the assumption they are utter shit.

Really slow. 10 - 20 seconds to load my ebay page.

Sometimes doesn't even connect, particularly in the mornings.

Plus I am on the "free phonecalls everywhere" package, and my monthly bill is between £50 and £60 for everything, which I think is fucking steep.

Any suggestions on who I should go to???

Cheers

yeh, me too. I'm on 4MB/s now and still paying the same as I did for 500k/s. never had any problems dealing with them either

I have a broadband issue, may as well put it in here.

I've got this computer on AOL broadband, I have a computer next to it on Windows XP.. whats the cheapest way to connect them and maybe have the internet connection on that one as well.

Should I buy one Ethernet adaptor and install it on the PC without the internet connection, and then have a wire going to the internet enabled PC, maybe to a USB port.... or whill I need to buy 2 ethernet adaptors for each PC... ????

Puzzled

PC World have them for £4 each..
PC LINE
NW100B
10/100 MBPS ETHERNET PCI ADAPTER CARD

Many thanks.

I will switch over soon.

To give an indication of how shite Homecall are.

It took 10 seconds to load the page to type this message.

Now that is not worth £24.99 a month. No chance.
