The Tourist Inn, fairly low grade accommodation and you might do better but it's dirt cheap and clean enough - not too seedy but only a stones throw from the brasses Cool

went towards the end of last year. we wanted to spend as little as possible on accomodation and rough it up a bit, still got a shock though when the girl who organised accomodation took us to a canal and showed us our barge. To be fair though, the only time we spent in there was when we were asleep, and we were high/drunk as fuck at the time so where we stayed was never an issue. Was right net to the train station as well, like a 5 minute tram ride from the city centre.

Whilst on the topic, I'm going for a few days in October. Whats the deal with all the cafe bars now for purchasing green. Last time I went it was a free for all anywhere but I seem to remember the law changing slightly. Rumours of having to show your a local to buy it to curb the weed binging.

Anyone been recently enough to know if they attempted to inforce it ?

Don't know if that's the case, but I've been about 5 or 6 times and always hear rumours like that but have never had any problems. Biggest problem for me is that the Bluebird stopped selling Warlock, my favourite green ever. Sad

Cheers, looks like your spot on cos I was just reading about the same thing on another forum 5 mins ago. Rumours and government dependant but will never be enforced cos it would wreck the tourism trade.

Wicked place to stay. Great vibe, really comfortable & free pool (at least when I stayed).
