I've let my hair grow. When dry my fringe is curling, when it's wet it's straight.
I do this diagonal fringe thing, which I need a straight fringe for.
Gel makes my hair hard.
What hair product (types of gel, wax whatever) can I use to hold my hair in position (that actually works, not just claims to)? My fringe is too short for straighteners.
get anywhere near this and you good to go.

If any one uses water based pomade I highly recommend Imperial Barber Products Classic Pomade, really good hold smells real nice and washes out easy

Anyone know of anywhere in the UK that has Redken Urban Experiment 4 - Grit Wax? It has been discontinued and can only see it on US amazon.

Hair by Fairy Neals Yard, £14. Bit of a lottery, two Italian guys and the Jap girl are recommended!

That top right side looks precarious. Forget Wash & Go more like Touch & Go!

Have you tried using powder?
I use Got2be Powderful (shitty name), it gives the same hold as he various waxes/pastes/clays I've tried, but not greasy at all, plus it actually makes your hair look thicker.

Perhaps try putting it in your hair.

Jordan try a light matte paste that can be 'run through' (e.g. nothing so strong you cant comb through) then powder after for hold. I use L'Oreal Professionnel Homme Matt paste but I'm sure there is an expensive one you can try
Works a lot better if you comb it into roughly the right shape before putting any product in but that goes without saying.

@ Jordan
What you should do is when you get out of the shower spray a little bit of sea salt into your hair.
Blow dry whilst wet. When dry brush your hair into your parted style (don't worry about it looking neat etc).
Then use some fudge matte wax, about a penny size dollop....rub into hands and first back claw the larger side of your hair. Proceed to then finish the look how you have it and to keep the hold use a little bit of spray
Your hair will look like this if done correct
