Looking to go late may, already had a search on here but could see what i wanted...

Anyone know any decent hotels, nearly all the ones ive seen have been really old fashioned. Anyone know any decent boutique hotels that wont break the bank.

Cheers

Slap bang in the Marais district as well (the Carnaby come Kings Road/Covent Garden of Paris). It's great little boutique hotel but book early.

Might as well answer your other Q abouts suits on TFS on here as well.. Staple suits are carried regardless of season so there'll be plenty there. The only differences is that during Summer they'll have some unlined suits in a lighter grade wool and Winter they'll obviously have the thicker, heavily canvassed suits. These are all in the classic business suit cut with a 79cm length etc. (This is regardless of the 'seasonal'/'runway' stuff).

paris is great in general but in my opnion, overated as fuck shopwise. The 2 DH stores arent exactully teaming with stock, esp the basement one which looks like a glorified concession with a nice stairway, the concession in lafayette is bigger!

Colette, i thought it was gunna be DSM sized but thats fucking small. Miu Miu store is womens only, balenciaga store was crap for mens stock, helmut and sander looked as if theyd seen more properous days, comme store is dope was impressed with size and stock.

Depends what you tried on mate. Typically, blazers sold as a single item (regardless of whether it's a standard length, hip length or the number of buttons) are more straight cut down the torso and have slimmer sleeves.

None runway staple suits have more room in the chest and slightly nipped waist. It's basically your typical business suit but on the slim cut side, especially the shoulders.

I actually tried a suit with a 6EH reference. The arms and pants were very skinny. It was as noticably fitted suit but wasnt the petite i need.

I hope they have ones like this when i go...

This is where i stayed, not too pricey and has a cracking view of the tower from the balcony. Also only 10minute walk to the Champs-Elysées.
