Project Catwalk - Jules' tips
Last week Julie-Ann Murray was booted out of Project Catwalk and despite not winning the competition, she has decided to share her fashion tips with us.

The number one rule for her is to Get The Basics Right. She recommends essentials including the Little Black Dress, a pair of killer jeans, a knitted cardi. Keep the colour palette simple, Jules says: "Black and white is a good place to start and you can add fresh updates to your wardrobe each season with the key looks from the catwalks". Jules also warns us not to be fearful. "Don’t be afraid of pattern and colour. They can be uplifting and there are plenty of fresh feminine prints and modern colour palettes out there to choose from." It is also important to "be inspired by other women; magazines, old time glamour, movie stars, music etc but don’t be sucked into the latest trends just to keep up". Self-knowledge is fashion liberation - Jules believes that women need to "understand your shape and dress to impress". Her final top tip is "Be kind to yourself: If you’re not feeling at your best then put down the celebrity mags and go for a treatment or get down the gym. Being fabulous starts from within so work on building your confidence".
Jules and Keko were asked to leave last week after failing to impress the judges with their red carpet dresses designed for Nancy Dell’Olio. There are now 10 designers left in the competition, including fuk.co.uk friends, Jasper Garvida and Debbie Debonair.
Update: Debs Deboniar has been kicked out - she's going to pen some tips on getting glam Deboniar style for us so we'll have those online soon,

Modeling is distinguished from other types of public performance, such as an 70-562 acting, dancing or mime artist, although the boundary is not well defined. Appearing in a movie or a play is not considered modeling. However, models express emotion in their photographs, and many describe themselves as actors. Models are generally not expected to verbally express themselves unless to visually enhance a 70-643 photograph.
Types of models include fashion, glamour, fitness, bikini, fine art, and body-part models.
Not all models are considered "beautiful": character models 83-640 portray ordinary people and humorous types, mostly in print work and in commercials. Photo manipulation and cosmetic surgery also enable people with body imperfections to model and change their looks to suit a certain role. Many high fashion models have "quirky" attributes and memorably unusual faces. High end brands often use these unusual faces as people are likely to testking original remember their brand name and associate it with an interesting face.
