Comments: Swatch Alternative Fashion Week is a great opportunity for professionals or graduate designers to exhibit their work. Not only do you get the chance to show your work for free, but you have great support from the event organisers who provide the stage/catwalk, live music, changing room, publicity and refreshments and all they ask from you is to put on an amazing show.

The web coverage is definitely an additional plus displying an online video link thus creating even more coverage for the designers.

This has been a great opportunity to all designers who took part, we have all worked very hard and produced some amazing collections.

The Swatch Alternative Fashion Week has definately boosted my moral and confidence towards my career. This is a great stepping stone for me (fingers crossed for the future)

Thanks to everyone for a great Swatch Alternative Fashion Week. I attended Wednesdays show along with Fashion and Textile students from Colchester School of Art and Design. I felt very proud of our teams collection on the catwalk, well done everyone. My design was one of the four watches showcased during the week for Colchester. Personally this was a fantastic opportunity and on Friday I visited the show again and watched my tutor Mary collect the Swatch College Award won by Colchester School Of Art and Design for customisations of a Swatch original watch. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of the watch design, thanks to my Tutors for their encouragement, and all of the inspirational people I met whilst there.

Comments: hi,

I think the website is fab especially the video footage of the shows. I showed my work on Thursday (the childrenswear collection) and was wondering if you had any photos of my collection for me to view? The video is brilliant I was so excited to see my work there! Thank you.

Sorry Elizabeth, we don't have any shots for Thursday's shows - you might find some on photographer Adam Scott's site.

Comments:Dear fuk.co.uk I am a fashion student and I really love using your website but I am disappointed with the catwalk photos for Alternative Fashion Week 2005. Last year you had great photos and while there is more info and video on the website this year, there are only catwalk photos from 2 days. Please can we have more photos next time?

Comments: Catwalk shows on Friday were an interesting mix - the girls from Circus Space modelling the hats looked amazing. Some really wearable pieces in there, and the overall winner's stuff was fantastic!

Comments: I think your site is great. I enjoyed the video of Monday's catwalk. There is a fabulous girl who knocks the spots off all the rest of the models. She has dark hair and a very short skirt and a red and brown amazing outfit. The way she moves is incredible, so sassy. I tried to print off some stills but no luck. Is there a method to this? Well done!

You should be able to print a frame when the movie is paused. Try saving the movie to your hard disk and playing it back in the standalone player.
