My mate's having a sleeve done, on his arm, so far it's taken him a year to get about a 1/3 of it done. my brothers friend has a tree trunk going up his arm which spawns into branches/leaves on his back. hideous My mates got a little more going on then a tree trunk. |

yeah football tattoos are never a good thing - my friends boyfriend has got an england flag with "england forever" underneath - so so tacky. he regreats it - cant really hide it either as its on his shoulder. |

Agreed totally, but the good thing about mine is that, unless you were told what it was, you wouldn't know, it's v small and only in black and white Edit- The blue bits and the LUFC down the middle are tatooed in black and that's it.
I've been after a new one for years, this one, was hoping it'd cover the Leeds one I have, hopefully in time for the World Cup for obvious reasons, I don't want the German Police getting the wrong idea about me.

No thats not my point. Im not even hating for no reason, threads like this are a personal pet hate of mine. This thread is 7 pages long, how many people actually have tattoos on it? How many people talk about wanting one? How may people will get one? Fair enough people think about if they want one or not but in my experience its the people who talk the most are least likely to get one. peas. argh! fuck off u gingerminge. anadin - i really like your tat! is that your first? a friend and i were looking at some today, havent got the nerve to get it yet!!! how long did that take to do? |

yea it's my first, and was seriously planned an hour in advance! would have taken 10 mins but on the ribs was a bit too painful so i had to stop and have a glass of water half way. made it 15 mins or so. |

I have a Leeds United badge on my arm and I dislike it for the following reasons; It's a football tatoo which is never a good thing I had it done a few weeks into Uni while I was very drunk and had lots of money in my bank account and was homesick. My friend had the Welsh rugby feathers at the same time, he regretted it as well. |

cheers^^^ just decided to get three more small ones on the same foot just above my toes, will wait till the summer though did your tattoo hurt? my friend said it was sooo painful. really want to get one on my foot. |

Loads of girls I know have large tatoos at the base of their back, but personally I think this makes them look like a hooker (since this is a look many adopt out here). Smaller, more discreet ones on the foot or neck can be nice if done tastefully (as opposed to the one her mate Shazza did on her knuckles at school). Content as well as quality can be an influencing factor as some designs can age badly (a smiley scid house symbol is so last decade for example). Only my views of course thanks Iain |

I *think* Im getting one done at the wkend... a simple, tiny (as small as possible) solid black 5 pointed star at the top of my calf muscle... nothing that special I know - but I want it to represent the year 2005... Twas a very special year for me... |

on girls-mostly shit, although fern cottons look really good IMO fhm collections got designers to do some a few years back, i remember d squared, hedi slimane, john richmond and paul & Joe i think. homer had the dior one as his avatar a while back, it looked quite good. i was considering getting it on my lower back |
