I suppose i just never found out. Never heard him speak or refered to as American.

I doubt 90% of this forum know who he is, let alone his nationality though Eye-wink

Cool

Can't wait. Only downside is all the games are at the crack of dawn. I will however watch them all. Just hungover.

Don't follow Rugby, are England going to get thumped here by anyone decent?

England, as always with rugby have a very reasonable chance.

In theory, New Zealand will win but I bet they will choke again Laughing out loud

last time it was held in New Zealand it was won by New Zealand. I can't see them choking on home turf. England to get knocked out by the french in the quarters. The jocks not to make it out the preliminaries (what's new) Laughing out loud

You're thinking of the wrong shaped ball Eye-wink

Quarter-finalists at every World Cup except for 1991 when we got to the semi-final.

You're probably right there Uncouth Laughing out loud Even IF we make it through the pools as the runner up we'd get thumped by NZ in the quarter finals.

The 25th. I think it'll be a great game too, but I'm quietly confident.

I think I'm right in saying New Zealand is the only team we've never beaten.

Inverse - if we can win our group we wouldn't meet New Zealand until the final Laughing out loud

If i'm honest i don't know enough about Argentina's recent form to be able to call it. Scotland have been playing well so they're in with a fighting chance. At least the Quarter-final will be a nice day out if you get there Laughing out loud

England team to face Argentina:

England: Ben Foden, Chris Ashton, Manu Tuilagi, Mike Tindall (captain), Delon Armitage, Jonny Wilkinson, Richard Wigglesworth, Andrew Sheridan, Steve Thompson, Dan Cole, Louis Deacon, Courtney Lawes, Tom Croft, James Haskell, Nick Easter.

Replacements: Dylan Hartley, Matt Stevens, Tom Palmer, Tom Wood, Ben Youngs, Toby Flood, Matt Banahan.

Happy with that team and the pack in particular. I've got a fiver e/w on Tuilagi to finish as top try scorer at 50/1

Unlucky Wales. I definetly thought that third Hook penalty went over.

Great game though!

I threw my shoulder out when Youngs went over. csb

Dan Cole had a good game. Other than that England were fucking terrible. Without stating the obvious i've never seen Wilkinson play like that before.
