Maybe its old news, but I noticed a bus advertising that A&F were opening in Savile Row, its probably about time they had a store in the UK. |

and playing with sexuality in a subtle crative way is one thing.ramming it down someones throat when theres not much there anyway is another. (no subtle)

I agree with the people saying the only decent thing is the shorts but with those prices why not just go for a decent brand like Carhartt rather than associate yourself with yank jocks with a splash of gay thrown in?! |

Not as scary as the AF MD or Cheif of sales/whatever he was on the news two days ago. Perculiar looking blond moron. I was looking at the place on the inside. Its very dark with just the clothes lit up and they pump out loud commercial club music. That isn't the kind of atmosphere I like when shopping for clothes and would put me off more than the label. |

I went in the A&F store today and it was a really odd experience. Its a massive place and like has already been said, its very dark with only the clothes lit up and loud club music being pumped out. The guys at the door were now fully clothed, but it was nice to see some of the girls were wearing the little denim hotpants. It was super busy, and the ques for the changing rooms and the tills were insane. It all seemed very different and over the top compared to what I remember of going into an A&F store in the US. Not all the staff really seemed to know what they were doing either. There was a lot of them asking you how you are all the time... but when I actually wanted something that was high up, the one guy had to go and ask permission to use a ladder so he could actually get stuff down. My main reason for going in was to get a pair of shorts, and when I asked where they were the guy sent me in totally the wrong direction. It was an interesting shop... but not that great for actually going in and easily finding what you want, especially with it being so busy. |
