Maybe its old news, but I noticed a bus advertising that A&F were opening in Savile Row, its probably about time they had a store in the UK.

Its more fraternity college type stuff. A really sexed up Ralph Lauren.

I went there on Saturday. Absolutely rammed. Blokes by the door with their tops off, it seemed a bit nippy so felt sorry for them (no homo). Anyways the shop is good if you wanna shop in a packed club. They should invest in a bar and theyd make a fortune. The girls working there seemed nice enough, blokes seemed to be constantly puffing out their chests in a tarzan stylee.

Really dark in there, kinda hard to tell where anything is just kinda wondered around aimlessly. Music was fucking annoying after 3 minutes. Queues were ridiculous, they must be making bare though. The stuff seemed pretty standard, jeans, hoodies, polos, tees. I remember a couple years ago it was more preppy and less jockish. Oh well. Got some nice shorts for the summer.

I dunno who the store is aimed at though? In downtown NY they have a massive really calm store nicely laid out and really bright. Id much rather spend money there than in the dark.

Dunno if anyone cares im sure anyone that wanted to go has gone already...

I think that was what I was trying to work out too... who is it aimed at?

It's on Saville Row, where I don't think it really fits in with the shops around it. They may have put it there though purely because they think it deserves that kind of image. I can't help but think it would have been better suited on Oxford or Regent Street.

The other people shopping were varied. Lots of tourists (despite it being off the beaten track so to speak), lots of early teenage girls, twenty somethings, thirty somethings and then really quite old people. You would think that given how the store is, they were actually aiming for just one of those markets.

Like you say theCorn, from what I remember of A&F in the US, it was basically just like going into a GAP store with pictures of All American guys and girls on the walls. Nothing like what we have here.

I unfortunatly have to go back there later to exchange one item I bought because it was too big.... Didn't bother to try it on because I didn't fancy queing 30 minutes for the changing rooms. Its not really the shopping experience they probably intended it to be.

That's exactly the same as the couple of US stores i've been in. I'm gonna have to stop thinking about them now as they wind me up.

You need to have an American postal address for delivery if I remember correctly.

I went last week and it was dark as, nearly walked into the door when I stepped into the place. Rammed to the rafters and music so loud I couldn't hear myself think. Full of well fit birds though.

London one sounds like ever other A&F to be honest.

Use firefox and an american proxy. Or just get your cousin to order
