Bumped into a couple of fukers too. Cool

Was it instead of the usual Minival party?

@ adidas kev. for a city like aberdeen to independently organise and host a mini festival like that I'd say the line up was spot on considering it was the first time for the event. Here's hoping that it grows year and year and we can eventually end up with a decent weekend event or something along those lines.

Aberdeen is so backward in terms of attitudes towards events of this nature that pulling off something of this scale was a major achievement.

Had a great day yesterday, everything was on point and hope it becomes a regular thing. Feeling it today though.

Thought the line-up was alright myself; Derrick Carter, Tiger & Woods, Slam - not bad considering it was the first year. £27 a ticket for that and several other acts/a mini-festival is good value for me, especialy considering people pay that fo LIB nights. Good crowd of people there too, good atmosphere throughout. Roll on next year, hopefully bigger and better, a great thing for the city.

Was on the rig it was heading to a matter of weeks ago same flight path etc . Something needs to be done about bond's maintenance schedule all their air ambulance fleet have been grounded as a result of a crack in their rotors and now this. It's all gone eerily quiet over aberdeen just now aswell Sad

See Cruise in Aberdeen are opening up a proper mens section in their Union Street shop. Surprised they are able to with Kafka having most of their brands and Attitude now having Armani etc.

Theres been a fair few parties happening, in forests and the like. Getting a bit late in the summer for it now though.

My restaurant hitlist:

The Beautiful Mountain (Fri and Sat nights only)
Yorikobi by CJ
Musa
Ghoulash
Cafe 52
La Stella
The Foyer
The Courtyard

I had a shite meal at Malmaison a few weeks back.

£15 for a pretty unexciting burger and the service was poor, no-one seemed to know what they were doing.

Nice looking venue though.

I've been to Yokorabe and Cafe 52 (which I really like) on that list, I'll check out the others over time. Have yolu been to Bistro Verde? It's nice, just across the road from Cafe 52. Also Sopranos was nicce the 1 timne I've been, seafood based if that's your thing.

Actually, got an engagement pary at that Mango pickle place next month- anyone been there?

Just lost out on buying a flat just off king street, (2 bids higher). Has anyone got any suggestions for sites to look at ther than aspc for property? Mainly 1 bed flats. The market up here is just silly.

^ no - pretty much all property goes through aspc afaik. I sold my flat in 2 weeks off there and someone I know sold recently on the first showing - 1 day after it went on, stuff can shift really quick.

Changing topic, any Fukers going to Mylo at the end of September?
