Does anyone know of a legit place to order these now? They were released in the states last week I believe, so some company must ship them over here now?

I've been to lots of meetings since the Ipad came out, and not once has anyone ever turned-up with an ipad and used if for something bussiness related, like showing us nice graphs, etc.
Microsoft are fooling themsleves (as are Apple) that bussiness people (or anyone else really) use these things for anythign more than playing Angry Birds.
These things are basically toys.

They're 300 of them in circulation at my company. We also had a few at my last job as well.

I'd expect a greater use of tablets in the workplace when the windows tablets hit the market. I think there'll be two types; there will be an ARM one which is an ipad competitor and one much more expensive one designed to replace your laptop. Both will run MS office.

Microsoft need to make a docking station accessory, something that you can leave on your desk hooked up to a monitor and peripherals (Like business laptops, akin to the Dell Latitude), and then the more expensive i5-core tablet would be popular as fuck, especially for business. It has enough power in it to do desktop tasks, but the size of the screen just isn't good enough for some tasks and the touchscreen input isn't always convenient for certain things.

Chrome is better for me. On Safari Fuk used to make safari crash, no crashing yet on chrome. Like it.

Can't get to hang with chrome on iPad
All you need for safari to get it 'like' chrome is: tab+ and omnibar

Also I'm glad for the ease of downloading torrents on the iPad - especially for films.
But has anyone got an app (from cydia) or a website where I can easiy stream films from?

I also don't see the point of people buying 3G iPads when you can make a wifi iPad 3G anyway through your mobile.

trivial if your mobile can make its own "wifi hotspot", like the iphone 4 and 4S, most new HTCs etc.

just check that 3rd party devices connecting through the phones wifi is counted under your free data allowance, it varies by contract and provider.

I use my blackberry's 3G or my dads Samsung galaxy's 3G when using my iPad.

It's easier on iPhone but can be generally used on most top brand mobile phones.
If you need a push in the right direction, pm me.

What cases/sleeves do people have? I like the Mulberry sleeve but it's a bit obvious and boring. Want something cooler/quirkier. Starting to think they don't exist.

Game wise, GTA3 is amazing.
Costs a few quid but well worth it.
