Does anyone know of a legit place to order these now? They were released in the states last week I believe, so some company must ship them over here now? |

Using Sky Go app, and now have got a message saying "content not available on JB devices". My iPad is not jailbroken and has not been for some time. Anyway to fix this? |

Have you done a restore without putting back the backup? If yes then either wait for an update or have it repaired. |

What cases/sleeves do people have? I like the Mulberry sleeve but it's a bit obvious and boring. Want something cooler/quirkier. Starting to think they don't exist. Keith Haring ones on here for a good price. Think you might need to register to view though EDIT: it's these ones (to save you having to register just to look)

anyone got issues with the iPad being tooo bright to read magazines even with display turned down? using goodreader with pdfs but its ruining my eyes and i keep going back to print copies |

We've got it so we can view sky in any room - and it can be a pain having to go downstairs to change channel - this works flawlessly. Now need one for virgin media and their terrible user-interface |

It's like I said in another threat the other day. Too many 'marketing executives' who all want to be heard at the same time and couldn't when jobs was in charge because he was a ruffless cunt (to his benefit). Its the same with their current advertising. If Jobs was in charge of it still, no way would it be like it is. Its doesn't even focus on a product, which was the whole point of its simplicity. Adding a range to the iPad is just bad news. It won't take off. Ok for iPods as they're cheap, iPads aren't. If its a sake of £100, who's going to buy a small one when they can have a full sized for 100 more. Plus they already marketed it fullsize for travellers, so they can't market this one in the same market. iPhones the mini iPad. |

Don't fully agree with what you said burny. First off with advertising its a chance to market your USP to those that are unaware of the aspects of the product. Initially, with so many different MP3s at the time Apple clearly marketed the item based on the design from its shape and later its click-wheel which distinguished it from others in the market - they bossed this around that time, if I remember they used product placement in 50 cents P.I.M.P. Later they marketed the customisable aspect of iPods from its colour. But now with the product being on the market for a while, many of us know what to expect from Apple also the shape in its self is not so unique (Recent Samsung tab court case proved that). The only real way it can advertise while still giving a glance of what it looks like is to show 'what it can do' differently to those on the market, be it through apps or shitty Siri. I'm sure when iPhone 5 comes out the design will be one of the core aspect of its advertisement but 'what it can do' different to the previous iphone 4 and its competitors will be at the forefront. However if it were my product seeing as everyone basically knows about the product already- I myself would also go with simplicity; arrogant and minimalistic. White background, simple music they used in previous ads, the product, show what it can do, no background commentary, end with text saying what product is.. Finally I hate when people say iPhone is the exactly the same as iPad/iPad mini - iPad offers practically which the iPhone clearly doesn't why would I watch a movie on my iPhone when I've got an iPad?! Although I feel the iPad size is okay, there will always be a market for sliightly smaller sized iPad regardless. Another example Sony with their playstations; always introduce a beast product to market then slim size. They will always be a market for it. |
