Sigor Rós - Heima

There's a beautiful trailer online for Heima, a probably even more gorgeous film about Sigur Rós' return to play for the people in their country of origin, Iceland, after a long period of touring the rest of the world.

cant wait to go see the first emperor exhibition.

i read this thread in one go from the first page and i thought the terms "art" and "culture" were being used a bit broadly (calm down Barleys, i like modern/street art too), but good to see it's getting a bit more serious Eye-wink

Andy Huang - Doll Face

A machine with a doll face mimics images on television screen in search of a satisfactory visage. Doll Face presents a visual account of desires misplaced and identities fractured by our technological extension into the future.

Apparently this was a shambles, less prints for sale than advertised. They let a family of 5 get 4 prints each (Kids were given 5k in cash to get them). There was a fight outside where, the people involved got let in ahead of everyone else so the police didnt come and disperse the queue.
