Hi mate, I am in my final year Journalism BA, I would reccomend doing something broader at BA level then specialising in your masters. Have a look at the london college of fashion and request a brochure from the website. They like lots of experience and evidence of published work so write write write. I'm applying for an October 09 start on the masters course. fingers crossed

Yeah i've written for quite a few publications so i have a small portfolio. I was thinking about doing a BA in english but i want quicker way into the industry. I'm not sure whether you have to incorporate womenswear though.
