Quick question, why is http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BANKSY-ORIGINAL-POW-SOUP-CAN-SERIGRAPH-STAMPED-NUMBERED_W0QQitemZ140054898334QQihZ004QQcategoryZ360QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

£650

Surely that could be recreated for a tenner, and whats so special about it?

I would never buy art from ebay , ever . Surely it would be better to use a gallery and maybe pay a little extra knowing the work was 100% authentic

Of course not questioning Panda .....

Gallery...hahaha

Expect to pay double what Ebay asks then. You think Ebay prices are bad, galleries are much worse with they crazy mark ups.

All my stuff I got from DMPHI, Outside Institude, events like Sneaker Pimps.

What Panda has is def legit though I'm looking for a signed version.

luckily i have provenance and a record is kept with regards to who buys which number in each print run, making it easy to contact the printer and prove authenticity.

mislead youth, how much for the have a nice day?

it says on the pictures on walls site, where these were bought, that when they went on sale a couple of years ago these retailed for between 30-50 quid. they ve gone up in price due to his increased profile. although i love his work, theres very few 'prints' i would be interested in, even at their face value.

You're probably right when it comes to like of Banksy and some others as there are a lot of fakes flying around, but it's a reasonable way to pick up a lot of artist's work at very good prices at the moment. As long as you buy from a reputable source and they can provide the the COA/provenance (and it can be checked) then you should have no probs. I picked up an Eelus piece the other week for £50 and one sold a week later for over £250.
