Post any 'heads up' info right in here for stuff that is going cheap.

DO NOT post live auction links - these can be posted in the ebay listings thread.

If you want to keep the info just for GJs, use diederik's handy site: dontlurk.me - the password is in the GJ section on your left.

New thread, old one archived here.

The Butteros are nice, but I don't think their anywhere near cp's

is it a tudor/rolex type scenario? ie people only buy them instead of cp's because they're cheaper, then claim it was actually because they're way nicer?

R they are great quality, but if the cp's were the same price, don't think as many people would be copping the buttero's, but I don't really like most of the butteros lows I've seen, in comparison to cp achilles

Not at all, its just a preference thing. Rolex and Tudor are the same company and Tudor IS a shitter version. Should be getting a watch this year and will be getting a Rolex, wouldn't even look at Tudors. CPs and Buttero are two different companies.

Really like these: http://www.asos.com/Buttero/Buttero-Suede-Lace-Up-Plimsolls/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=2156073&cid=14944&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=200&sort=-1&clr=Black

Also, I'm judging this on interweb photos and not having actually seen Butteros in person lol.

I've probably got more CP's than most on here, and my 2 pairs of Butteros both different models are better in every way, than any of my common projects. So there.

I think we can all agree their both nice! and it prob come down to personal preference, though yet to see a pair of lows that look better than some clean achilles

design wise its really down to personal taste
construction wise buttero might be better, but i personally find the one-layer thick buttero leather a bit too hard and uncomfortable to start with.

I haven't tried either as I love 888. I put details on one for home and the other for work. Seemed to work, just letting you know in case you want 1 of each.
