Only of you're a child or in some way considered 'vulnerable' (learning difficulties etc).

'I asked her if she liked CuntWitch... the band' http://www.myspace.com/cuntwitch

It's not even a word, nor to my knowledge - a common insult. First time I've ever heard it in my life Laughing out loud

one of the tragedies of modern times is the dilution of the word cunt.
its no stronger than bloody now. as soon as the yanks took our word it turned itno nothing.
that was the ony word that could make people shudder back in the day. i used to be the only person i ever knew who said it regular and people (birds) used to go mental about it.
now its everywhere and everyone says it and writes it. means fuck all, totally nothing. and no we no longer have a shock word in our language. which is a crying shame.

true. around my mates it gets used every other sentence, proper bad habit. although i might have to start using cuntwitch Laughing out loud
i cringe a little when i hear 'snatch', seems worse than cunt to me now.

Funnily enough my use of it had come up once or twice. Didn't even give the cunt the chance to explain though, packed my stuff and fucked off without a word.

A bad lad at my primary school called a dinner lady a cunt and at the time I'd never seen uproar like it. Still remember it clearly now because of the reaction it got and because one of my mates went home and asked his mum what it meant, which he then explained to us the next day

using it had more of an effect than if you hit the offended person over the back of the hed with a hammer. it really did have this massive stigma and shock factor about it. they didnt even use it in 18 brit gangster films until nil by mouth and then dead mans shoes. and even in them movies its hard hitting and caused shock.
now you can say it in front of youre nan and she wouldnt blink.
birds probably upset about the word witch, not cunt.

It's been used in Glasgow as a substitute for person/guy/whatever (initially by rough types but by pretty much every male once they're over 15) for as long as I can remember. Much like some black guys will say 'nigga', but with no sort of racial validation behind it. I remember a guy in my school said 'cunts' during a class talk in English when I was about 13 and the teacher didn't even flinch Laughing out loud
