you can't get sacked for slanderous comments which don't have conclusive evidence (unless its an email or something) especially when they are when everyone is pissed at a staff do. companies have to respect the code, if its deemed a 'serious' breach, you still can't get sacked, you'd just get a final warning. depends on the company contract but most I've looked at won't ever say they can sack you in an instant, especially at your rights as an employee are valid after 2 years working. |

rule 75b subsection 2. After 2 years gainfull emploment with no breaks in contract conditions, employees are permitted to call directors, management and staff 'cunts'. |

I'm sure he will be suspended, but he won't be fired. you can't be sacked lawfully for an isolated slanderous comment where drinking is promoted out of office hours, especially when there is no solid proof of him calling her a cuntwitch add the fact he didnt use any sort of discrimination of race/religion/sex he'll be telling everyone about his raise and she got the sack but this is irreverent, as he said he doesn't care |

yeh, they'll struggle to sack you, though you're probably going to become persona non grata for a while. If you're not a high performer you'll have to be squeeky clean or they'll get you on something else. Alternatively, look for a severence deal |

Wasn't even a meeting, walked in 10minutes late and he was waiting for me sitting at my desk(cheeky cunt). Asked me what happened and i was honest amd said i probably did say it but cant remember. He asked if there were issues with anyone and asked what a cuntwitch was. No notes taken or witnesses so I assume I'm off the hook???? |
