FIrst England get knocked out now this..

Im going away tonight and i havent got my "EHIC" (e111) sorted. just applied on the internet for one but does this mean i wont be able to get treated in any scummy greek hospitals?

ALSO

NOBLE: Whats the cheapest way to phone home from abroad? Last time i only went for a week and racked up and extra £80 on my bill from using my phone minimally.

just go to the post office and get travel insurance, it's effective immediately if it has to be and is a very good policy. Cheap as well

but if you need travel incurenace i've got the Platinum pack on insureandgo.com which is good for the price... no excess either, which is useful

the E111 card is effectivly our NHS, i'm certain that most insurance policies require this... i had to show proof of mine when i claimed back

Ring up the helpline or what have you, they'll be able to send you out a temporary E111 card if you're in a hurry.

i dont have an e111, i buy yearly insurance from them... god knows if i need one

my dad lives there,

flights were £1500 return, way out premium economy, way back is business class Cool

flights are so much more expensive this time of year than in march/april!
