girlfriends got the bold, seems good. sick of my iphone so think ill get one. remember looking at the curve and doesnt it have wi-fi but no 3g or vice-versa? seemed a bit stange for a new phone, especially a business oriented one.

Bold is amazing and battery life is good too, you must've had a dodge one looseone. Have played with all of them, storm's touch screen is shit in comparison to the iPhone's, curve feels cheap and the internet is mad slow due to the lack of 3g.

i run a bold of course, its great, google maps shits on the inbuilt mapping software. great when you are on foot looking for places just guides you right in. wifi and 3g is fast. keyboard is great.
use my iphone 2g for personal calls and music / videos and games apps.

i was getting about 14 hours out of, not even heavy use.....to make it worse, it switches off the phone features when the battery gets low - whats that all about!?

i got a curve the other day, changed from an iphone 2g. i dont really miss it at all. the specifications are much better on the curve. the only thing with it, is the battery life seems quite variable.
other than that, i'd definitely recommend one over the iphone.

I'm thinking about getting a blackberry bold after having a look at one.
I signed up to an iPhone contract about 6 months ago, silly question but if I sell the iPhone and use the sim on the Blackberry, will everything function as normal (free data etc.)?
