blatant design rip offs

I couldn't find a similar thread, so I thought i'd start one. Anybody else noticed this shameless rip off of the Junya work jacket from fw10? Brand called shades of grey: http://www.coggles.com/item/Shades-of-Grey/JKT205-Honey-Canvas-Jacket/97VT almost every single detail ripped off directly from the jacket on this page: http://www.endclothing.co.uk/blog/category/junya-watanabe-man/ except with shit quality materials like fake leather. I know shops like primark do this sort of thing all the time, but it seems kind of different when it's a brand that's trying to be 'premium'. do people think this sort of fashion plagiarism is acceptable? any other shameless ripoffs to share? |

kooples is such a shit brand and amazingly overpriced I hate their brand philosophy aimed at androgynously dressed couples mixing wardrobe items. But how shit is it really? From what I can see its just a load of unbranded tailored jackets, trews and tees. Can’t see it dating anywhere like AllSaints brand model which was created based on a quick trend. Saying that I have no idea what the quality is like, where it is made or how the things fit. |

I've got that Kooples jacket I posted on the other page and it's good quality. It was over priced even at 50% off, but I wanted it so I paid. Didn't like a single other thing on their website but didn't really consider what the brand philosophy or image was. Stuff like that doesn't bother me if I like something. Don't think the brand is anything like All Saints. It's more like J Lindeberg or some other mid priced, indistinct designer brand that you'd find on ASOS, or a wannabee APC or Surface to Air |
