I couldn't find a similar thread, so I thought i'd start one.

Anybody else noticed this shameless rip off of the Junya work jacket from fw10?

Brand called shades of grey: http://www.coggles.com/item/Shades-of-Grey/JKT205-Honey-Canvas-Jacket/97VT

almost every single detail ripped off directly from the jacket on this page: http://www.endclothing.co.uk/blog/category/junya-watanabe-man/

except with shit quality materials like fake leather.

I know shops like primark do this sort of thing all the time, but it seems kind of different when it's a brand that's trying to be 'premium'. do people think this sort of fashion plagiarism is acceptable? any other shameless ripoffs to share?

Bit of a girly one but..

Claire's accessories rip off Tatty Devines designs..
Ignore any correspondence from Tatty, yet have the time to delete every negative comment on thier facebook page within 3 minutes of posting..

Great social media presence!?

Just saw this: http://www.parkandbond.com/product/98546806

Sure the hood unbuttons and there's a patch on the underarm, but, that withstanding, it's stich for stich Jawdropping!

It doesn't get much more blatant than that does it?!

I find it amazing that there are people defending Claire's Accessories on the Tatty Devine blog.

Claires one is terrible. it is more understandable seeing places like topman/topshop making cheaper versions or remakes inspired by designers.. but some people have no respect for others ideas at all

are fakes/copies/rip offs acceptable if the copy/fake/rip off is a higher price or a superior product?

I don't think studhomme fall in to this category because at the end of the day they're a brand who excel themselves for doing high quality replicas, not design rip offs.

Of course it's a design rip off, it's a company that copy the designs of expensive jackets and sells them for cheap. They make no effort to claim they're anything else, doesn't their website even categorise the jackets by the brand they're ripping off?

lets not bullshit though, the trainers posted in the visvim thread are exact copies of converse.
they look great, dont get me wrong, the chain detailing is boss - but they are a copy of the chuck taylors. (or not a nod towards the chuck taylors, however you want to put it).

im not having a go, as we all know my whole wardrobe is fake, i dont own a single real thing.
but i expect there are a lot of people who wouldn't dare wear a copy/fake, but would more than happily wear a 'influenced' piece by visvim

edit; btw i wasnt mentioning stud, they do make copies, of course. but they're blatent and honest about it
