Really into all the Buzz Rickson/Eastman/Aero repro items at the moment. Next large purchase is definetly going to be an Eastman/Aero leather.

Some rad looking stuff in the a/w 12 Buzz Rickson line as highlighted on Selectism today

http://www.selectism.com/news/2012/04/11/buzz-ricksons-autumnwinter-2012-a-closer-look/

Both the Eastman and Area leathers (at least their A1s and A2s) are also great value and tough as hell

The Buzz Rickson chambray I've got is great quality

Yeah surprisingly nice fit on that, contemplating ditching the APC one I've got for it.

How snug is it when zipped? And what size did you order in comparison to what you normally take?

Fit is way better than the "standard" cut A-2

It's comfortable enough to wear zipped up and isn't too snug, still room enough to move around without being restrictive. Arms are slim, so layering under the jacket would probably be limited to a shirt and possibly also a thin sweater. I'm 6ft and 71kg, with a 37.5 inch chest, and a size small in most things like Uniqlo shirts for example. I sent an email to Eastman asking for sizing advice and they suggested I go for a size 42 which turned out to be bang-on. Their online sizing calculator suggested a size 40 but I think that it's really aimed more at their other standard-fit jackets which are likely a bit larger in fit (although I haven't worn any of their other jackets).

Looks good stitch

Amin, any news on your A2 yet?

Still waiting to receive my one. Went for a 36 but hearing what stitch has said about sizing maybe I should have gone for a 38 because I am a xs in uniqlo

Stitch, how long did it take from when you placed the order to receiving it? It's been over 2 weeks for me now.

It took 3 weeks from placing the order to receiving the jacket - 2 weeks to make it and 1 week delivery from UK to Australia.

Received the jacket yesterday and it is lovely. Needs to be worn in but the fit is very goof. Slim in the body but I would have liked the arms to be slightly slimmer. Quick fit pic, will try and get some more better ones later on.

Amin, that looks good. Did you customize the length? I bought an aero leather A2 size 40 off ebay. Very short in the body probably about 25in from the back, probably a bit too close to the original in that sense

Leather is stiff at the moment and should fit better after it has been worn in, going to have to wear this a few days in the house

Delfor - got the standard length. It is perfect length for me as I am short

Measurements are nearly the same (+/- 1cm) as the ones posted on the first page

Really like the jacket and having worn it around the house, it is starting to soften up and fit a lot better
