Textile waste up thanks to ‘primark effect’... as seen in the London Paper tonight. Should we keep buying into this wasteful society? I'm going to a fashion show next Monday where all the clothes are created from second hand clothes. No waste just taste. All the clothes are created by volunteers under the guidance of designers Kesh, Junky Styling, Ethical Fashion Forum and TRAID and curated by lead designer Ben De Lisi. Following the showcase, Fashion Favours and other items including celebrity donations will be sold via vinspired’s online ‘wardrobe’ with all proceeds donated to HIV charity Body & Soul.
