My main work one is next saturday so will be my trusted 2 piece black tie outfit by Gieves as i have to look 'professional'.
shawl collar 1 button jacket
wide leg trousers
some pointy-ish shoes
probably a bow tie rather than a skinny one &
a black/white spotted evening scarf that i saw in reiss today (stupidly didnt buy it so will go back tomorrow hoping they still have stock.
Other parties will be less formal so just smartish, maybe denim with jackets etc.

Pea coat(cheers berk)
Grey cardy
white shirt
black skinny tie
raw selvage straight legged denims
white con hi's.

Agreed but that's the reason why - I can't think of anything else 
We're going out clubbing afterwards so don't wanna go too formal or ruin any of my good gear.

without or without? allow the crappy photoshop bow, it will be a black one. You can't make it out but the jacket is a blue textured blazer, worn with black trousers/cumber-band but you get the idea.
