i'm usually a 10, but find them a bit of a squeeze, 10.5 fits me perfectly.

might be of interest, originals are apparently available to buy online from this week, not sure when though.

I think clarks have put everything on their normal website, desert boots on it now in millions of colours, also the 'point taken' looks quite nice, desert boot with a more pointed toe.

I just bought some yesterday, I think they fit pretty true to size. I'm a 10 in dunks, vans etc 9.5 in most shoes including desert boots. Thats great news about them being stocked online.

I'm not sure if you were fishing for that just so you can comment back "point taken"

Agreed. Was worried they were gonna be proper winkle picker pointy.

Don't like the Akasha wallabees at all, they look really tacky and chavy in the flesh IMO.

Does Clarks still make sand coloured Wallabees? I can't seem to find them in any of the shops and they're not on the website?

Eleven - Schuh are shifting a lot of them via eBay.co.uk right now at pretty sweet prices, seem to have a glut of size9's. I think the colours are seasonal hence no summer colours on the Clarks page right now.

Taken full advantage of the new webstore, half-sizes for the win!

Saw a pair of biscuit-coloured suede Clarks shoes in the Clarks outlet at Livingston earlier, almost like a Desert Boot cut down into a shoe (not the Desert Khan or Desert Trek though).

Couldn't decide whether they were nice or nasty (the heel was a bit rounded and had the Clarks logo, plus there was a slight "wave" moulding on the bottom edge of the sole) and wouldn't mind another look, but I can't find them on the Clarks website.

Anyone know what they're called?

No, but I saw the shoes you're talking about in another outlet.
I wasn't sure about them either, upper looked great but wasn't sure about those soles (not that this is any help Smiling)

I think I was being swayed by the fact that they were 25 quid, and you could get a second pair for a fiver. I would never see the soles when I was wearing them, but I'd know they were there.

Clarks outlet in Street had loads of the desert boots in various colours and good sizes couple of weeks back. Those caramel/wheat ones are especially nice.

I always found Clarks to run big personally, wallabees and db's, I always sized down half a size. I know the new wallabees have been streamlined back to more their original slimmer shape and I'm ordering a pair next week so don't know whether to size down like I usually do or not, anyone got a pair of the latest wallabees? I'm a 9 in Nike/Vans usually, clarks 9's were always fine length wise as they recommend the half inch/thumbnail gap at the front but when walking I'd find they slipped around the ankle, whereas 8.5's did the trick.

Anyone had a problem with the Clarks website recently? Tried to confirm my order and it just knocked me back to the checkout with no explanation.
